You have mild headaches, people start telling you that your eyes are red all the time, taking the back benches is a pain as you cant see whether your lecturer is looking at you or your neighbor. It is time to visit the doctor my friend. Initially you feel "I ll look so cool and studious". But as you enter the clinic there is a sense of panic. "My eyes aren't the same anymore!!!!".. " I don't have perfect vision!!!" ... "I may not be eligible for some jobs!!!" ... SO you go in praying that the problem is not your eyesight but something that can be cured with a few eyedrops. And once you are seated with the doctor the above picture says it all. This was my experience. Was yours the same???

Freedom of Expression, Justice, Digvijay"a" Singh Blah Blah Blah...
The Indian Government's sanction to prosecute Google,Facebook and Yahoo and 18 other sites on grounds of publishing obscene content and promoting enmity between communities has not gone down well with proponents of free speech and rightly so. Our courts are clogged with thousands of cases that need to be disposed of immediately. But what we see here is that our judiciary has plenty of time to waste time on frivolous complaints and petitions. This matter has been raised before by our esteemed Minister of Communication and Information Technology , Mr Kapil Sibal. He had asked Google and Facebook to submit their content to be screened for objectionable content. And yes this is the same Kapil Sibal who had proposed the 0 loss theory in the 2G spectrum allocation case. He had a very good reason to do so. Out of 358 request that the Indian Government made to Google to take off objectionable content from the internet, 255 of those request were about posts or articles that were highly critical of the government. We are well on our way to emulating China in this regard. India is the fourth nation that has asked these websites to take off content that is critical to the Government. Our judiciary is very proactive and forthcoming in such cases, but vary lax in cases where the common man seeks justice. We always blame the system for our present condition. Its not just the politicians and the bureaucracy that are responsible. The judiciary is also to blame. Accountability in our courts is a serious issue. Aliastar Pereira was sentenced to a mere 6 month sentence by a trail court for a hit and run case where he ran over and killed 7 persons in an inebriated state. This was later increased to 3 years by the high court. We are in constant denial that our judicial system also has become a part of the corrupt framework that exists in our country. The cases of Justice Sengupta and Justice Dinakaran are ample proof of that.
Mr Digvijay"a" Singh - Seen cooking up his next controversial statement.
Obscene content is something that these websites should take care of. But censorship on views against the political establishment is totally uncalled for. There are some entities in our country who need to be silenced on priority basis. If there is someone who needs to be gagged it is Digvijay"a" Singh !!! Either Mr Singh has been reading a lot of conspiracy theories or is constantly on drugs which cause hallucinations.
